HOLIDAY CLUB: Please can you save Cereal Boxes and Pringle Tubes which we shall need for Holiday Club crafts? Please can you pass these on to either Christine Skeffington or Jenny Adkin? Many thanks. Christine Skeffington

PARISH WEEKEND: There are still a few places remaining if you would like to attend this event which is being held at The Hayes Conference Centre at Swanwick from Friday 30 March to Sunday 1 April.  The cost is £125 inclusive and all rooms have en-suite facilities.  If you are interested, please contact either Eve Drew or Carol Payne.  If you would like to come but feel you cannot afford it please speak to Eve, Carol  or Graeme in confidence.

INKJET CARTRIDGES & THE LIKE:  Please will you note that we no longer have the facilities to have inkjet cartridges sent for recycling. Please therefore refrain from leaving them at the back of church.  There are lots of worthy charities Christian or otherwise which will accept inkjet cartridges/mobile phones etc for recycling and usually they will include a FREEPOST envelope so that you can send the cartridge etc. to therecycling centre.  All these charities have websites.  Please also note that as far as I am aware EPSON cartridges for some unknown reason to me do not recycle.  Many thanks for past participation.  Martin

TRIP TO HARROGATE & HARLOW CARR:  I am organizing a trip to Harrogate & RHS Harlow Carr to take place on Saturday 28 April 2012.  The cost of the coach is £16 per adult and £10 per child under 15 years.  The coach will leave from outside The Grange at 8.30am and return to Radcliffe early evening.  You have a choice as to whether you wish to go to Harrogate and/or Harlow Carr.  If you are a RHS member entrance to Harlow Carr is free, otherwise there is an entrance fee of £6.50 - this is a discount rate for Groups.  If you wish to go please let me know whether you wish to go into Harlow Carr or not.  Many thanks.  Martin

"HANDING ON THE TORCH": THIS YEAR'S ECUMENICAL YORK LENT COURSE   CTR has again chosen the ecumenical York Lent Course to guide us throug Lent 2012.  It seems flexible enough to be shaped following the wishes of each group.  The title of the 5 sessions course is "Handing on the Torch".  There is a booklet and CD to go with it.  As always this is  an opportunity to prepare for Easter with people from different congregations.  Forms to tell us your choice of day and time will be in church on Sunday 22nd January, to be returned by 12th February. Julia Hancock.

NOTICE BOARDS: Many of you will have noticed that the notice boards have been removed from the back of church.  This is to make way for 4 settees.  One of the notice boards - the one which is latticed for people to leave messages for one another - has been relocated in the porch where it hides the blue bin etc.  Please give it a glance when you enter/leave church as there may be a message left there for you. Martin Skeffington, Dave Townsend

DINING TABLE: The former dining table with barley sugar twist legs is no longer required.  It has been placed in the corner of the crèche on a temporary basis.  If anyone has a use for it or knows anyone who may require such a table please let a churchwarden know so arrangements may be made for its collection.  If no one shows any interest before next Sunday arrangements will be made for it to be sold with the proceeds going towards church funds.  Martin Skeffington, Dave Townsend
