Come and celebrate together by singing at the Manvers Pub on Tuesday 20th December 7:30 for 8pm (for approx 1 hour).  Any musical instruments welcome, just bring any music books you may need. The Landlord has generously offered to provide mulled wine and mince pies. For any more detail/queries ask Judy Anderson- Rev G's wife.

NEW YEAR’S  EVE SERVICE AT AT MARY’S: Our Watchnight Service at 11.30pm on Saturday 31st December will be in the form of Compline.  This is a quiet service of devotion and reflection.  All are welcome.  Come and help us to bring the Light of Christ into 2012!

ST MARY’S CHRISTMAS CARDS: This year's Christmas Cards are now at the back of church arranged in street order. We would be grateful if you could collect your own and deliver to any nearby addresses that you are able. Many thanks. - Martin & Dave

THURSDAY COMMUNION SERVICES: There will be no service on either Thurs 22nd or Thurs 29th December. Services will resume as normal in the New Year.

2012 CALENDARS: Calendars of Nottinghamshire Churches are now available priced £5 each from Brian Bull 933 3674.  Proceeds to the Diocesan Bell Repair Fund.

STANDING ORDER FORMS: Many of the members of this church make their regular offerings through bank standing order. This is the method that creates the least work for the finance team and also affords St Mary's the greatest degree of forward planning for its ministry. If St Mary's is now your church and you feel ready to take this step, please pick up a set of forms from the back of the church

REGULAR GIVING ENVELOPES: The envelopes for 2012 are coming soon and will automatically be issued to anyone who is already using them. Quite a few spare sets have also been ordered this year - so please speak to Sally Williams (office 8451656) if you would like one. In particular we would encourage anyone who is a taxpayer and who does not already give by regular envelope or standing order to consider doing this, please.

CHRISTIAN AID AREA COLLECTION CO-0RDINATOR: We are in need of a volunteer to take over the coordination of the Dayncourt area of Radcliffe for the Christian Aid collection, held each year in May. For more information please contact Jenny Hudson or Rachael Glover. Thank you.
