CHRISTIAN AID WEEK 9-15 MAY 2010: This weekend sees the start of the house to house collections around the village. In order that we can continue to cover all areas of the village we need to recruit more volunteers. The Lamcote area, which is primarily St Mary's area of collection, needs help to collect on St Lawrence Boulevard (Approx 50 houses), Vancouver Avenue, (14 houses) and Nottingham Road (17 houses). The collection can be made easier, and more pleasant, by doing it in pairs, it is good exercise and a chance to view other peoples gardens - lovely at this time of year. So please, if you think you could help in this most worthwhile effort please contact Jenny Hudson -
