St Mary's Radcliffe on Trent

Working in love to glorify God
and proclaim Jesus Christ as Saviour

March

The PCC met on Monday 1st March with 15 members present.

A letter had been received from the Parish Council asking about the use of vandal proof paint on the wall between the Royal British Legion Hall and the churchyard.  Providing warning notices are erected, no objection was given.

It was agreed that a faculty would be applied for to enable replacement of the water heater in the vestry.

The sound system in church is no longer fit for purpose and it was agreed that a replacement should be sought as soon as possible.

A report on The Anglican Methodist Covenant was received.  The vicar said he had had a good meeting with Janet Tanner, the Methodist Minister, about this.

The vicar had discussed with the leadership team the possibility of having a part-time Parish Administrator.  It was agreed that this should go forward and the vicar would provide a job description and the number of hours necessary for such a person to be employed.

The treasurer presented the draft accounts which were agreed.  Charitable giving was discussed and it was agreed that the shortfall should now be paid. The Annual Church Meeting is to be held on 26th April at 7.30 p.m.
