I and my family have lived in Radcliffe since 1969 and have worshipped in St. Mary's since 1975, following a renewal in faith and a personal commitment to Jesus Christ. At that time I became involved with young people, leading groups in Sunday school and sharing the leadership of Pathfinders. In 1987 God led me into the ministry role of Reader, and I have led worship in Radcliffe and Shelford since that time. I began teaching in Nottingham Inner City in 1981, and strongly believe that God provides opportunities to witness to His love, where ever He calls us to be. I became involved in inter faith dialogue and have many close relationships with Muslim and Sikh friends. I am still a member of the group continuing to work for understanding and respect in areas of present tension in Nottingham.
Radcliffe has a commitment to ecumenical outreach and I was a former leader of Christians Together. I uphold the importance of close harmony within the churches of the village and welcome projects which work towards that end giving benefit to the community.
We have two grand daughters living in Radcliffe and have been active in providing a main caring role for their well being during the last 8 years.
