Feast Weekend July 4/5/6/7 2008 will begin with a Festival Celebration on Friday evening July 4th at 7pm in church with Radcliffe on Trent Junior School Choir. Wine and nibbles will be served at the end of the service. A Flower Festival will be held in the church Saturday, Sunday and Monday 10am to 5pm. (Theme 'For all the Saints') Saturday July 5th will see a Horticultural Show and children's sports and in the evening a Barbecue and 'live music'. On Sunday July 6th, there will be a Street Market in Church Street Shelford (which will be officially closed for the occasion) from 10am to 5pm; there are also to be Open Gardens and Street Entertainment. Refreshments will be on sale all weekend in the Village Hall. Patronal Festival Service on Sunday 6th July at 6.30 p.m. |
