St Mary's Radcliffe on Trent

I was born in rural Lincolnshire where I attended Church, Sunday School and also learned to ring the bells.

Later, while working in London, I met my husband Brian - also a bellringer, and in 1968 we moved to Radcliffe and attended St Mary's. We have three children and eight grandchildren.

God has always been a very significant and guiding part of my life and I had been thinking of becoming a Reader for over 40 years! Children, work and studying as a mature student had always got in the way. Then, on Easter Sunday morning 2003, I felt sure I heard God speaking to me, saying "Don't put this off any longer- the time is right for you to train as a Reader, to tell others the Good News of Christ".

I was licensed in 2006 and joined our ministry team. I feel my qualities are listening to others praying with and for other people and working as needed as part of the team.
