St Mary's Hall

St Mary's Hall aims to be welcoming to all its visitors. It offers:

• level access to and within the building
• automatically opening front doors
• 5 person lift (also suitable for wheelchair or mobility scooter)
• unisex toilet for wheelchair users
• induction loop system in the main hall
• 'assistance dogs welcome' policy

Ground Floor

Underfloor heating throughout.

Main Hall

An unusual, medium sized hall (15m x 6 m) with sprung bamboo floor, capable of seating 100 people 'theatre-style' or 70 people seated at tables. The hall can also be sub-divided by a sound-proof partition to give two smaller areas.

The room has a sound system, induction loop and piano.

Foyer

The conservatory-style foyer is beautifully light and airy with views across to the church. With its bistro tables it is an excellent place to sit and relax.

Servery hatches to both foyer and main hall

3 minute cycle dishwasher
Hot water heater for instant hot drinks
Fridge (with small freezer)

First Floor

Rainbow Room

Lounge (6m x 6m) with comfy seating for around 20 people and views towards St Mary's Church.

Ark Room

Versatile space (5.5m x 5.5m), chairs and folding tables available.

Dove Room

(5.5m x 2.5m) Suitable for small informal meetings.

Transport

Currently we recommend able-bodied persons with motor vehicles to park in the nearest public car park, which is approx 100 metres distant.  There is in on-street parking to enable disabled drivers/passengers to access the hall.  We have provision for at least six bicycles.

The hall is situated adjacent to a main bus route with buses every 15 minutes into Nottingham during peak day times, and every 30 minutes during the evening. A reduced service is run on a Sunday.
