It is well established in the area and has a print run of 1,100 copies each month. Many people who have no other contact with the churches are reached by it. This year two series of articles have added interest to the magazine. Thanks are due to David Hancock and Dave Townsend for “Treading less Heavily” and “The Church Warden’s Bike Ride” respectively. Is there anyone else who could share enthusiasms or beliefs or experiences with us all? Your ideas for a series or for just one article will be warmly welcomed. Please get in touch. It is good to report that an increasing number of community organisations want to use our magazine to give news of their activities. A lot of people take LINK, although the competition from glossy free publications is real. We are very aware of the need to keep our presentation lively and up to date. With this in mind we are exploring ideas for a new look in the autumn to tie in with the new hall coming into full use. We hope that visitors to the St Mary’s website will before long be able to view back copies of LINK three months after publication. In this way people who do not know this area can learn more about the life of our churches and communities.
